Are you annoyed when you visit a site, and it has popups and automatically resizes your window to the maximum size or make it smaller? Well, you can fix this in Firefox with one simple tweak. Of course, I am a huge Firefox user and encourage anyone who is using Internet Explorer to complete the switch over to Firefox 3.

Anyways, to accomplish this tip in Firefox, there are two ways.

Method 1

-  Type in your browser URL: "about:config" (without quotes)

-  Then type in the filter "dom.disable_window_move_resize" (without quotes) and change the setting to true.

Method 2

-  Go to tools > options

- Content

- Under the advanced tab, uncheck move or resize existing windows

Now this will stop websites from hijacking your browser and changing the sizes!
